Training is intended to build a firm foundation in
light and medium-duty towing and recovery and includes both basic and
advanced information. The 2 days
of classroom and hands-on training will be followed by the N.A.T.A. certification
exam.
- Students receive
their own 115 page student manual.
- Certification
certificate, shoulder patches and a photo ID badge will provided
to all students who successfully past the certification exam.
- Outside exercises include
loading a car carrier, wheel lift, frame forks, and dollies as
well as rigging snatch blocks and performing 5 or 6 different rollovers
using flatbed and conventional equipment.
Lunch will be provided by the NHTA both Saturday and
Sunday.
*Students
should wear appropriate working clothes and bring personal safety gear.
